Reynolds will report to Razorfish Toronto Vice President of Client Partnerships Brian Clarey and will be responsible for leading senior client relationships and providing strategic counsel to the agency’s growing retail client base in close partnership with Razorfish’s North American commerce practice.
Reynolds joins Razorfish most recently from Indigo Books & Music, where he held the role of director of e-commerce product management. Prior to that, Reynolds served as the e-commerce portfolio lead at Wal-Mart Canada. He also held senior digital roles at Sears Canada, including associate vice president of sears.ca user experience and director of digital marketing.
“Jim’s strong track record delivering growth in retail and commerce innovation for leading brands makes him the ideal person to join our team, and I’m confident he’ll help Razorfish Toronto continue to drive digital transformation for our clients, both in Canada and globally,” said Clarey.
Over the course of his more than two decade long career, he’s held several consultant roles for companies including CGI Information Systems and Management Consultants, kanetix.ca, and President’s Choice Financial. He’s built and managed teams of digital marketers, business analysts, project managers, developers and graphic designers in the support of strategic technical implementations and digital marketing campaigns. He is a seasoned e-commerce professional with expertise across relationship management, digital marketing, digital strategy and technical life-cycle development.
On joining the agency, Reynolds notes, “Razorfish is the clear leader in omni-channel commerce, and my passion for digital and helping brands transform the way they interact with their consumers across touch points aligns perfectly with the work Razorfish is doing. I’m thrilled to be joining such a talented team.”
