Frankfurt/Berlin/Munich, New Role: Just two years after starting as Executive Creative Director at Razorfish Germany, Preethi Mariappan is moving up a further step on her career ladder. On October 1, 2015, Razorfish, the leading international digital agency in the field of business transformation, selected the 39-year-old to be its Chief Creative Officer. As the fourth board member, she will strengthen the management team together with CSIO Alina Hückelkamp, COO Kai Greib and CEO Sascha Martini."Under Preethi Mariappan's leadership, it was possible for our creative team to achieve a large number of prestigious distinctions," notes Sascha Martini, CEO of Razorfish Germany, "the two Cannes Lions are just a fraction of the overall stream of prizes. In 2015, Razorfish took the winner's podium for numerous awards. Prizes at the Cannes Lions, the One Show Awards, the Shorty Awards, the Smarties Awards and a win at the Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2015 are amongst the largest international successes achieved. Nationally, Razorfish won multiple prizes at the German Digital Awards, the Annual Multimedia Awards and the OttoCars.
In addition to such successes with her team, Preethi was also able to demonstrate her creative competence as a judge at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for the Mobile Lions category. As Chief Creative Officer Preethi wants to link her new function seamlessly with her work to date. As she states herself: "It is a great honor for me to be able to lead such a fantastic creative team. We will build on our past achievements in order to continue leading our customers to success in the future."
